Itty Bitty Airport **did a very good job of setting up the president for the series**, but it seems to suffer from **a lack of time investment** into deepening its mechanics. The game feels the most **hollow** of all within the itty bitty series; **it lacks depth** to its gameplay, and so a majority of the time is spent trying to earn money to build a new gate or something. There is **no meaningful progression** beyond money and type; it lacks any sort of management aspect as found in other games like Airport CEO (Steam), and just feels hollow. Itty Bitty Railway (the effective sequel) got around this by adding enough modularity to the decorative building that your layouts can be much more creative.
