Giant Bug Zoo 🐞 Reviews & Rating

The general concept of a game about collecting insects and putting them in a zoo would be nice, especially if there *were* facts about said insects. Unfortunately though, aside from the fact that there aren't any facts, many of the models and textures for the bugs are AI generated, and do not accurately depict the specific animals listed. The two most egregious examples are the Rhino Beetle in the Sapphire Egg section, and the Flea in the Oak Egg section. The models for both of those creatures look *nothing* like an actual flea or rhinoceros beetle. Another thing regarding inaccuracies is that some of the animals are "accurate" (not AI generated), **but** are named something else. Specifically - from what I had unlocked before writing this review - the "pill bug" and "wasp." The "pill bug" model is actually a Giant Isopod - y'know, the giant deep sea relative of land isopods - and the "wasp" model is actually a honeybee. Play it if you want, but you won't like it if you're a bug nerd or a stickler for accuracy.
