Mad City was an interesting take on the standard cops vs robbers gameplay, with the addition of SUPERPOWERS! The game, however, seemed to try a bit too hard to make everything a bit over the top, and it felt like a slightly more cash-grabby version of jailbreak on release. As time went on, the game managed to develop its lore a bit more and recover its identity.
**The game's downfall was really due to its lack of updates as of late and the decision to effectively split the game into two.**
